ICEWORLD COVID-19 UPDATE 27/5/20
Iceworld Olympic Ice Rinks are looking forward to welcoming everyone back on the ice as restrictions ease.
QLD Governments Easing of Restrictions – Stage 2
As per the QLD Governments current position, Stage 2 allows us to re-open for ice sports only from Saturday 13th of June. These restrictions will allow 20 people on the premises at one time. ISQ and Iceworld management are currently working through required actions and timetables to ensure we meet the conditions set by the government and to ensure the safety of our members, athletes and staff. Providing the government’s position on the easing of restrictions does not change, we also anticipate that we will be able to commence restricted public sessions from the 11th July 2020.
Due to the ever-changing nature of the restrictions, the above is subject to change at any time. We will endeavor to keep you posted when/if changes occur.
ICEWORLD COVID-19 UPDATE 23/3/20
Due to the government’s announcement on the 22nd of March 2020 that certain non-essential services are to cease including indoor sporting and entertainment facilities, we regretfully inform you that Iceworld Olympic Ice Rinks (Acacia Ridge and Boondall) will be closing its doors from midday on Monday 23rd March 2020. This includes all training sessions, ISQ activities, ice sports and public sessions. Our venues will be closed until further notice. Iceworld would like to thank everyone for their incredible support. Please take care and we appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
We look forward to seeing you all back when business resumes.
