Iceworld Olympic
Ice Rinks run 4 Skate Schools per year using the national Aussie Skate
program. These run in conjunction
with the School Terms. Adults and children are welcome to learn ice
skating from 3 years old
and up. Further information can be obtained by calling the relevant
ice rink or by clicking the links. There is no need to book. Just turn up and enrol on the
day. Classes can be commenced at any time during the term. There is
no ice skating school during the school holidays however skaters are welcome to come along to
the Public Sessions to practice their skills.
Ice Skating is taught
in 1/2 hour group classes and skaters progress through the levels at their own
pace. Time is available during Skate School Sessions to practice
the skills learned during the classes.
Competitions are usually held at the end of each term at an Iceworld ice skating rink and
all skaters are welcome to participate.

Skate School Extension Classes are also run at
Iceworld Acacia Ridge and Iceworld Boondall on most week days. These
classes will improve your skills and fast track your progress through Skate
